Hero Motocorp has released another video teasing the upcoming Karizma XMR 210 in India. The motorcycle is set to be launched on 29 August, but the teaser gives us a closer peek at what to expect.
To begin with, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 will come adorned in the iconic yellow colour that was offered with the first-gen Karizma. Stepping up on the design language of the original Karizma, the XMR 210 gets a modern-looking full-LED headlamp but comes with sharp lines and creases on its bodywork. While the original came with a single-piece seat, the Karizma XMR 210 gets a split-seat setup.
Now, underneath the aggressively designed panels, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 will come powered by an all-new 210cc, single-cylinder engine. This engine is liquid-cooled, a first for Hero and is expected to push out around 25bhp and 20Nm. It will be linked to a six-speed gearbox. As for hardware, the XMR 210 will use telescopic forks at the front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the back meanwhile the braking setup will include disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS as standard.
We expect the Hero Karizma XMR 210 to come with a price tag of around Rs 2 lakh and go up against the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, Yamaha R15, and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
