- New design details revealed
- To be launched on 29 August
- Will be powered by a new 210cc motor
Following a slew of teasers, Hero MotoCorp has now teased the upcoming Karizma XMR 210 on its official website as well. It reveals new design details of the bike and here’s what we know from the latest visuals.
It’s no secret that the new Karizma XMR will get brand-new styling and bodywork. Compared to the previous iterations, the Karizma XMR 210 would look much fresher and sporty. Its fascia comprises a wide slot from left to right side that houses the LED headlight. The setup is topped by a windscreen and it gets front fairing-mounted mirrors. Then, there are the large side panels with cuts and creases and also the rear panels below the seat(s) that appear quite aerodynamic.
Hero will equip the Karizma XMR 210 with a liquid-cooled 210cc single-cylinder motor and it is expected to push out around 25bhp and 20Nm. The engine will be linked to a six-speed gearbox. Then, the Karizma XMR’s hardware will comprise telescopic front forks and a monoshock alongside a front and rear disc brake with ABS. The features list on the new Karizma will include LED illumination, a fully digital instrument console and it could also get smartphone connectivity. In some of the previous spy shots, we’ve already seen that this will be a sports touring motorcycle rather than an outright supersports since the clip-on handles are mounted higher and the footpegs too aren’t very rear-set.
Hero MotoCorp is set to launch the Karizma XMR 210 on 29 August and we expect it to be priced at around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, Yamaha R15, and the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
