- Karizma XMR 210 and Karizma XMR trademarked
- Will be powered by a 210cc liquid-cooled engine
- Set to rival the Pulsar 250s, the Gixxer 250s, and the Dominar 250
In one of our recent exclusive stories, we revealed that Hero MotoCorp could be working on a new Karizma model. Now, two of its trademark filings have surfaced and here’s what the bike will be named.
Hero MotoCorp has filed the trademark for the Karizma XMR and the Karizma XMR 210. This cements our previous claim of the bike being powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor. Its output will probably be in the vicinity of 25bhp and 30Nm, and the engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. We’ll reveal more details about the same as the official launch inches closer. That said, the Karizma 210 will take inspiration from its predecessor.
Similar to the first-generation model, the new Karizma XMR too will be aimed at evoking a sense of youthfulness and commanding a significant brand value in the Hero lineup. Moreover, a test mule was also spotted last year near Ladakh. It revealed a few details and here are test bike's images.
Hero could position the upcoming Karizma 210 in its premium category of motorcycles. It’ll have various names like the Pulsar 250s, the Gixxer 250s, the Dominar 250 and a few more as its rivals in the Indian market.
