- Features LED illumination, digital console, and more
- Rides on USD front forks, monoshock, and more
Hero MotoCorp has unveiled another new motorcycle at the EICMA and it is the Karizma XMR 250. This marks the benchmark for the Jaipur-based bikemaker’s entry in the quarter-litre segment. Here is what the Hero Karizma 250 has to offer.
In typical Karizma fashion, the new 250 appears sporty, has sharp body panels, looks aggressive and mimics a proper sports bike. Its split LED headlight is quite similar to the unit we see on the current Hero Xoom. However, the new Karizma gets appendages as well right below the headlight. It also gets vents at the side directing the air for better heat dissipation.
Powering the Karizma XMR 250 is a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that makes 30bhp and 25Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. On the feature front, the Hero Karizma XMR 250 gets full LED illumination, a TFT, dual-channel ABS, and an integrated starter switch. Hero has also offered height-adjustable clip-on handles on this bike.
On the hardware front, it gets USD front forks and a monoshock whereas the braking hardware comprises a single front and rear disc mounted on 17-inch tyres.
Hero will launch the bike officially very soon and announce the prices as well. Once launched, it will rival the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250.
