Gets sharper styling
Has the same LCD as on the Karizma XMR 210
Powered by a new 250cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine
The new Hero Karizma XMR 250 has been officially teased on the company’s social media channels, hours before its official unveiling at EICMA 2024. The video shows some interesting details about the bike.
The styling of the bike, to begin with, is sharper and more aggressive than the current Hero Karizma XMR 210. The front fairing has more prominent crease lines and one can also spot the winglets below the LED headlight. The fuel tank, on the other hand, has a more chiselled appearance. The tail section, meanwhile is sleek and has the same LED tail lights as the Karizma XMR 210.
As the name suggests, the new Hero Karizma XMR 250 will be powered by a 250cc, DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that should make around 30bhp and 25Nm. It will be paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Under the bodywork, expect to see the same frame as the Karimza 210. However, the Karizma XMR 250 has a light gold-coloured USD fork instead of a telescopic fork. At the rear, there is a gas-charged monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and what appears to be wider tyres than those on the XMR 210. Even the front disc looks larger in diameter than that of the 210.
In terms of features, the bike has all-LED lights and an LCD that’s plucked from the Karizma 210. We wish Hero would have gone for the TFT display as seen on the Xpulse 210 which is also set to debut at the EICMA 2024 in a few hours. That said, the Karizma XMR 250 has an SOS button that will warn the concerned people about an untoward incident, to send help.
The new Hero Karizma XMR 250 will be showcased shortly. Stay tuned for details.
