Hero MotoCorp launched one of its most hyped products of this year, the Karizma XMR, a few months ago. It has now made it to the BikeWale long-term garage and already started accumulating kilometres on the odometer. If you are planning to purchase one, then here are some of the essential bits to know about the Hero Karizma XMR.
What are the specifications and fuel economy of the Hero Karizma XMR?
Hero has used a new 210cc, liquid-cooled engine for the new Karizma XMR. It makes 25.15bhp and 20.4Nm of peak torque and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The motor is quite peppy and revs freely. Even the fuel efficiency of the Karizma XMR is likeable. During the test, it returned 39.2kmpl. However, the 11 litres of fuel tank capacity feels quite less and limits the Karizma from munching long kilometres in a go. On the other hand, the gearbox is quite responsive and the shifts are crisp.
What are the colour options available for the Karizma XMR?
Hero offers the Karizma XMR in three paint schemes – yellow, red, and black. The bike looks desirable in all the colours but the yellow paint is what gets the most eyeballs.
What are the variants, prices, and rivals of the Hero Karizma XMR?
Hero has priced the Karizma XMR at Rs. 1.80 lakh now. Compared to its launch price of Rs. 1.73 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi), the bike now costs Rs. 7,000 more. It rivals the Yamaha YZF R15 V4, Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, and the KTM RC 200.
