The Karizma XMR is an all-new product built from the ground up. It boasts fresh styling sporting a full fairing with sharp cuts and contours. There’s a sleek LED headlamp with an adjustable windscreen, fairing-mounted mirrors, a muscular fuel tank, and a raked tail with split-style grab rails. Hero has introduced the bike in three colour options – yellow, black, and red. Accompanying the new look are modern features like full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled LCD console, and a USB charging port.
Powering the Karizma XMR is a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve motor that makes 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm at 7,250rpm. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. As for the hardware, it is based on a steel trellis frame that is suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends assisted by dual-channel ABS. Incorporating an 11-litre fuel tank, the XMR tips the scales at 163.5kg.
The new Hero Karizma XMR competes against the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, KTM RC 200, and Yamaha R15 V4.
