Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated Passion Pro for Rs 47,850 (ex-showroom new-Delhi). The motorcycle gets some cosmetic upgrades and a slightly powerful engine.
The cosmetic changes come in the form of new paint schemes and new decals. The new stickering has helped to give the bike a fresh new avatar. Apart from the six standard colours like black sports red, black heavy grey, black frost blue, sports red, force silver and bronze yellow, there are two completely new colours – matte brown and majestic white. The other features are still the same including a digital-analog combo speedometer, electric start and optional disc brakes.
The latest Passion Pro is powered by the same 97.2cc APDV engine mated to a four-speed constant mesh gearbox, but the major change the manufacturer has brought in is the hike in power output. This mill now outputs 8.24bhp of power and 8.05Nm of torque. The company says that though the power has gone up by one bhp, the fuel efficiency has not dropped, but in fact increased.
This 2015 iteration of the Hero Passion Pro in a refreshed avatar is expected to attract more buyers. The updated motorcycle was recently listed on Hero MotoCorp's website and today they have officially launched it. It will be available at all Hero showrooms across India from today.
