- Gets bolder graphics
- Features fuel-injected, 110.9cc motor
- Launch details not announced yet
Hero MotoCorp has listed the BS6-compliant Maestro Edge 110 on its India website. The updated model features a similar design as the BS4 model, although it now packs bolder graphics. The new graphics are visible on the front apron and the body panels. The colour options include Midnight Blue, Seal Silver, Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Fadeless White, Panther Black, and Techno Blue.
The feature list on the scooter comprises of halogen headlight, semi-digital instrument cluster and a side-stand sensor. The latest iteration of the Maestro Edge 110 uses a BS6-compliant 110.9cc, single-cylinder motor with a fuel injection system that delivers 8bhp of power at 7,500rpm and 8.75Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. Hero MotoCorp claims to have improved the pick-up and fuel economy over its predecessor.
The hardware on the scooter is similar to its predecessor. Thus, the suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a unit swing with spring-loaded hydraulic damper at the back. Details about the anchoring setup are not listed on the website, but the Maestro Edge 110 BS6 will most likely feature drum brakes on both wheels. The safety net includes combined braking system.
The prices are not available yet. Expect to see a price premium of about Rs 6,000-8,000 over the BS4 model. The old version, for reference, was priced at RS 49,904 (ex-showroom Delhi). Interested buyers can register for a test ride on the company’s website.
