- Prices increased by Rs 500
- No mechanical changes
Hero MotoCorp has increased the prices of its select products in India which includes its 125cc scooter, the Maestro Edge 125. Fortunately, the hike for all variants stands at Rs 500 which isn’t substantial. Now, the most-affordable drum brake variant of the Maestro Edge 125 costs Rs 82,946 while the top-end Connected trim will set you back by Rs 92,996 (ex-showroom, Surat).
Apart from the price increment, the scooter has remained unchanged in all other aspects. The last update it received was in July last year when Hero bestowed the scooter with refreshed styling and additional features. The latest iteration of the Maestro Edge 125 boasts a radical and sleek headlamp section, a sharper front apron, and a sportier set of decals. This is accompanied by a projector LED headlamp, a fully-digital instrument cluster, and Bluetooth connectivity for giving access to turn-by-turn navigation.
As for the technical specifications, the Maestro Edge continues to be powered by a 124.6cc, air-cooled mill that produces 9bhp and 10.4Nm of peak torque. It rides on a 12-10-inch alloy wheel combination that is suspended by telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a drum brake at both ends while a front disc is available as an option. The kerb weight of the scooter stands at 112kg and it features a 5-litre fuel tank.
