Ahead of the upcoming festive season, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturers are trying to make their portfolios more interesting by bringing in new colour options. After Suzuki and KTM, Hero MotoCorp is all set to do the same by introducing a new Stealth edition for its Maestro Edge 125 scooter.
The image (shown above) of the upcoming Maestro Edge 125 Stealth edition has been leaked on social media. The body panels of the scooter are finished in black, which is complemented by sporty graphics boasting of matte grey theme. Moreover, there are ‘Stealth’ badges on the front apron along with bold black and white branding of the scooter on the rear panels. Completing its distinctive aesthetics are a dual textured seat and diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Besides the cosmetic changes, the Stealth edition of the scooter will remain identical to its standard counterpart in all other areas. It is powered by a 125cc, fuel-injected engine which pumps out 9bhp and 10.4Nm. In order to save fuel, Hero has equipped it with its i3S technology (Idle-Start-Stop System). Other features include a semi-digital instrument cluster, an LED DRL, an LED tail lamp, an external fuel filler cap, an under seat USB charger and a boot light.
The prices of the Hero Maestro Edge 125 start at Rs 69,250 (drum brake) and go up to Rs 71,950 (Prismatic colour with front disc). The Stealth edition is likely to be slightly more expensive than these variants.
