Hero MotoCorp has updated its 125cc scooter, the Maestro Edge 125 in the Indian market. The scooter will be available in three variants – Drum, Disc, and Connected – with prices starting from Rs 72,250 onwards. Here we bring you the top five highlights of the new Hero Maestro Edge 125 range.

The new Hero Maestro Edge 125 is available in three variants. The drum brake model has been priced at Rs 72,250 while the disc and Connected variants are available at Rs 76,500 and Rs 79,750, respectively (all ex-showroom, Delhi).
Features
The new Hero Maestro Edge 125 gets a sleek LED projector headlamp that is claimed to deliver double light intensity and a wider and farther light spread. The highest-spec Connected model further benefits from a Bluetooth-enabled fully-digital instrument cluster. The console on the Connected version, which works with a smartphone app, packs features such as pairing with passkey, turn-by-turn navigation with superior display, miss-call alert, incoming call alert, RTMI (Real-Time Mileage Indication), ECO indicator, and low fuel indicator. It also provides functions like topple alert, theft alert, find my parking, track my vehicle, trip analysis, and more.
Design
The latest iteration of the scooter packs a sharper design than its predecessor. The styling cues include a sharp headlight, a new sporty dual-tone stripe pattern, masked turn indicators, bold graphics, and new prismatic colours. The saddle features a dual-tone cover while the pillion grabrail is a single-piece unit.
Colours
The connected variant of Maestro Edge 125 is available in two new prismatic colours – Prismatic Yellow and Prismatic Purple. The disc variant, on the other hand, is available in six paint options – Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black, Pearl Silver White, Matt Techno Blue, Prismatic Yellow, and Prismatic Purple. The most affordable version, the Drum variant can be bought in four colour options – Candy Blazing Red, Panther Black, Pearl Silver White, and Matte Techno Blue.
Engine
All variants of the Hero Maestro 125 are powered by a BS6-compliant 124.6cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected motor that delivers 9bhp of maximum power at 7,000rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm.
