The Hero Maestro Edge was launched earlier today for a price of Rs 49,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This feature-loaded scooter is the most premium model in Hero’s line-up of scooters and is powered by a completely new engine jointly developed with Austrian automotive firm, AVL. With a claimed efficiency of 64kmpl, the Maestro Edge is also one of the most fuel-efficient scooters in the market.
The Maestro Edge comes with utilitarian features like USB charging, under seat storage lamp, engine immobiliser and an integrated braking system.
The instrument cluster gets a completely new design with an integrated digital display.
The high quality switch gear gets a black finish and stands out thanks to the silver panel behind it.
The silencer juts out from below the scooter and gets an elegant titanium finish for the cover.
The rear of the Maestro Edge gets an LED tail lamp unit and a single-piece grab handle.
It gets handy touches like a front luggage hook and a storage box. It also gets a state of the art engine immobiliser.
The front 12-inch alloy wheel comes shod with 90/90 profile tubeless tyre and gets telescopic suspension.
The rear 10-inch five-spoke alloy wheel gets a 100/90 profile tyre and a drum brake.
The Maestro Edge comes in seven paint options and two variants – the LX and VX, with the latter being the flagship model.
