Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch a new scooter, the Maestro Xoom 110, in India on 30 January 2023. As the name suggests, this will be based on the existing Maestro Edge 110 but there will be a bunch of changes to set it apart.
As can be observed in the scooter’s darkened image attached to the launch invite, the Xoom 110 will boast a sporty design comprising a dual-tone front apron with sharp cuts and creases. A similar design theme is likely to be extended to the rear section as well. Interestingly, it is expected to not just be visually contemporary but also on the feature front with goodies like full-LED lighting, a digital console with Bluetooth, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The engine of the Xoom 110 is likely to be the same as that of the Maestro Edge 110, perhaps with minor internal changes for a different character. On the latter, this 110cc, air-cooled motor churns out 8.04bhp and 8.7Nm. However, it might be sportier in terms of cycle parts with a 12-inch alloy wheel at both ends, unlike the Maestro Edge which incorporates a 10-inch rear wheel. Meanwhile, the suspension setup will comprise telescopic forks and a monoshock along with a disc-drum braking setup.
The prices of the Hero Maestro Xoom 110 are likely to start from Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom) and it will mainly go up against the Honda Dio.
