- Camouflage-wrapped test mule spotted
- Maestro Xoom name registered
- Displayed at a dealer-exclusive event
Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming 110cc scooter, the Maestro Xoom has been spotted testing. The test mule appeared a few days after the scooter was displayed at a dealer-exclusive event. Here’s what it looks like.
From the recent spy shot and the information leaked during the dealer event, it’s evident that the Maestro Xoom will feature a tad different design than the current Hero Maestro line. It gets LED illumination and a fully digital instrument console, and the overall bodywork seems sportier. The Maestro Xoom name to has been registered.
Apart from the engine’s capacity of 110cc, other details are unknown as of now. However, we expect Hero to plonk the same single-cylinder 110cc air-cooled motor in the Maestro Xoom as it does in the standard model. Even the power output is likely to remain the same. That said, the new Maestro will benefit from the i3S technology for frugality.
It’ll ride on conventional telescopic front forks and a single rear shock while the braking hardware is likely to comprise a front disc/rear drum setup and a front drum/rear drum setup for a slightly affordable variant. It’ll be equipped with 10-inch alloys.
Once launched, the Hero Maestro Xoom will have the Honda Activa, Honda Dio and the TVS Jupiter (110cc) in its crosshair. You can expect its asking price to be around Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
