Hero MotoCorp has commenced the deliveries of the Mavrick 440 in India. The first set of bikes has been delivered to customers by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman - Hero MotoCorp.
The Hero Mavrick 440 was launched in India in February 2024, but the manufacturer has taken two months to begin deliveries. The motorcycle marks Hero’s entry into the premium 400-500cc segment, and if its first ride review is anything to go by, the Mavrick 440’s engine performance and ride and handling package are what have impressed us the most.
The Mavrick 440 uses a Harley-Davidson X440 derived 440cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled motor that produces 27bhp at 6,000rpm and 36Nm at 4,000rpm. It is mated to a six-speed transmission. The roadster is underpinned by a steel trellis frame that is suspended on telescopic forks up front and dual springs at the back. Meanwhile, it rides on 17-inch wheels.
The Hero Mavrick 440 is available in three variants and is priced between Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs. 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The base version is offered with wire-spoke wheels, while the other two trims get alloys as standard. The motorcycle rivals the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Hunter 350, and the Harley-Davidson X440.
