Hero MotoCorp finally unveiled its latest and most powerful motorcycle, the Mavrick 440. It is based on the Harley-Davidson X440 but gets lots of different bits as well. Here is what the bike looks like.
The Mavrick 440 appears more like a roadster and gets a curvy design all over unlike its American sibling. There is a round LED headlight, a large and bulbous looking fuel tank followed by a scooped single piece seat.
Hero has powered the Mavrick with a 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine and it makes 27bhp and a peak torque of 36Nm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from slip and assist clutch.
On the feature front, the Hero Mavrick 440 gets full LED illumination, a fully digital console with smartphone connectivity for navigation along with SMS and call alerts. Then, it also gets a Type C charging port for added convenience.
Hero is offering the Mavrick in three variants - Base, Mid, and Top. These three differ in terms of hardware, and colour options.
All three trims ride on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks but the base model gets spoke wheels while the other two use alloys. So, the base model also uses tubed type tyres.
The braking hardware includes a front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS.
The Hero Mavrick 440 can be bought in five different colours – Arctic White, Fearless Red, Celestial Blue, Phantom Black, and Enigma Black.
