- Will use a 440cc, oil-cooled motor from the Harley Davidson X440
- Expected to be priced under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hero MotoCorp has released a new teaser of its upcoming 440cc bike, the Mavrick 440. Co-developed in association with Harley-Davidson, the teaser image offers a glimpse into the design philosophy of the Hero Mavrick 440.
The teaser image reveals that the motorcycle will feature a low-set circular LED headlamp with an H-shaped DRL. The Mavrick 440 will receive muscular styling with a beefy fuel tank having pronounced extensions. Meanwhile, the tail section could look sleeker with a single-piece seat. The teaser also hints at a circular instrument cluster, which could be similar to the one on the X440.
The Mavrick 440 will use the same 440cc, single-cylinder engine from the Harley Davidson X440, but it could get a slightly different tuning. The motor produces 27bhp and 38Nm of peak torque on the X440. It comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The Hero Mavrick 440 will be launched in India on 23 January. As for its pricing, we expect it to be priced under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle will compete against the likes of the Harley-Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 350, and the Honda CB350.
