- Will be powered by a 440cc engine
- Could be priced under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom)
Hero MotoCorp has released yet another teaser of the Mavrick on its social handles. The new teaser reveals exciting details about the design of the Hero Mavrick.
For starters, the motorcycle will get a muscular fuel tank with the ‘Mavrick’ badge on the sides and below the fuel lid. Then, it will feature a dual-tone brown and black seat and multi-spoke machined alloy wheels. The Hero Mavrick will also feature a different subframe, compared to the Harley-Davidson X440, to go with the slender look of the tail section.
Earlier teasers have revealed that the Hero Mavrick will feature a circular LED headlamp with an H-motif for the DRLs. And, since the motorcycle is based on the X440, it will use the same trellis frame, engine and swingarm as the Harley bike.
Powering the Hero Mavrick will be a 440cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 27bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 38Nm at 4,000rpm on the X440. The motor is linked with a six-speed gearbox.
The Mavrick will be launched in the country on 23 January, and we expect it to be priced under Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of competition, the Mavrick will rival the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Harley-Davidson X440, Jawa 350, and the Honda CB350.
