Hero MotoCorp is developing a new 250cc motorcycle based on a completely new platform with the help of their American technology partner Erik Buell Racing (EBR).The motorcycle is rumored to have the best technology in its class with some next generation styling.
The initial development of this motorcycle is being done at the EBR center in Wisconsin, US whereas the company plans to manufacture it in India once development is completed. The plan is to launch this motorcycle during the 2014 Auto Expo and to start production later that year.
Hero MotoCorp might launch this motorcycle in international markets as a part of their expansion plan once they see significant sales in the domestic market.
