Hero MotoCorp has registered an impressive 28 per cent growth in August. The company sold 6,16,424 units in August 2016 as against 4,80,537 units in the same month last year.
The company claims that this is the third time they’ve managed to surpass the six-lakh sales mark. The impressive August sales was a result of good monsoon across the country, which resulted in a demand of models like the Splendor series. However, the world’s highest selling motorcycle has been dethroned, thanks to the Honda Activa scooter range. This has put the top honchos at Hero MotoCorp in damage control mode. As per our source, Hero is currently developing a plan that will take the Splendor to the numero uno position in the next couple of months.
Things at Hero are just not stopping there. The Gurgaon-based manufacturer will launch three new products to cater to the festive season. The three products in question are the new Hero Achiever, Splendor and Passion Pro. The last two products will get Hero’s i3S technology, but we’re also expecting it get to new decals and paint schemes.
