Hero MotoCorp has increased the price of its 150cc commuter, the Achiever by Rs 3000. The Achiever, which was launched almost a year ago at Rs 61,800, now costs Rs 64,769 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the drum brake variant.
The disc brake version has also got dearer by almost Rs 3000 and now costs Rs 65,751 (ex-showroom Delhi). A year ago, this model was priced at Rs 62,800. The Gurgaon-based manufacturer hasn’t equipped the motorcycle with anything extra or has added any new paint schemes. So it’s still not clear why there has been an increase of price. There was no response from company at the time of publication.
The Achiever is known for its styling and features it comes with. It is equipped with things like i3s start-stop system, a new instrument cluster with side-stand indicator and tubeless-tyres. It is possible that there has been a good demand for this motorcycle and the company wants to cash in by increasing the price.
