Hero MotoCop investing Rs 420 crore in Ather Energy. Till this new investment came in, the maker of Splendor held 34.8 per cent stake in Ather Energy.
The company started first investing in Ather back in 2016. Since then it has invested a total of four times in the Bengaluru-based startup. This clearly showed their commitment to this new company that has launches few exciting electric scooter variants till date. Hero MotoCorp will also use Ather’s ever-expanding EV charging infrastructure when it launches its first mass market electric scooter March. This new EV is touted to be an affordable and feature-rich product that could help the brand make a big difference in the world of EVs.
