Hero MotoCorp has launched the Glamour, Thriller and the Pleasure in Turkey today. The Indian two-wheeler major has started operations in the country in association with a distributor- Asya Makina.
The Delhi-based two-wheeler manufacturer announced its partnership with Asya Makina (Asya Dis ticaret ve makina san ltd sti) of Turkey. The company launched its two-wheelers under this alliance. Asya Makina is a subsidiary of the Soysal Group. It will be the distributor of Hero MotoCorp two-wheelers in Turkey.
The Hero-Asya dealership was inaugurated at Camlica in Istanbul today. The 125cc motorcycle- ‘Glamour’, the 150cc bike- Thriller and the 100cc scooter- Pleasure will be sold in the country through a network 50 dealerships. According to the company several more new outlets will be added in the next one year. The Thriller is basically the Hero Xtreme sold in India.
Hero MotoCorp Ltd (HMCL) is the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer. The company’s aim is to reach 50 global markets by 2020 and today with the launch of its operations in Turkey it has made its presence in one more country outside India.
