Hero MotoCorp has launched the Splendor Pro Gold Special Edition for Rs 48, 500 (ex-showroom Delhi). It has been created to celebrate 20 years of the two-wheelers existence and costs Rs 1000 more than the standard variant. The Splendor was launched in 1993 by Hero and its erstwhile partner Honda and is one of the most sold motorcycle in India.
The Splendor pro Gold features a new special logo above its headlight and ‘Special Edition’ badging on the side of the battery cover. Apart from these features, the motorcycle is has been painted in a special shade of gold (hence the name).
The special edition of Spelndor Pro has been launched just a few days after Honda launched its most affordable 110cc motorcycle in India, the Dream Neo which directly competes with the Splendor and is priced at Rs 43,150.
