Hero MotoCorp is likely to launch the Splendor Pro Classic and the Passion TR next month according to reports circulating on the interweb. Both the bikes were unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo last month and are one of the many iterations of the Gurgaon based bike maker's long serving deputies.
Hero MotoCorp left everyone shocked when they first unveiled their Café Racer version of the Splendor Pro motorcycle. The Splendor Pro has been comprehensive retro styling upgrades which include a new handle bar, classic round headlight and tail light, café racer cowl. Chrome has been liberally used all over the bike and covers the rear view mirrors, headlamp ring, front and rear fenders, the suspension and the entire length of the silencer.
The Passion Pro TR on the other hand is a bike which introduces an off-road theme on the commuter motorcycle. The Passion Pro has been given a distinctive off-roader look courtesy off road-tyres, a headlamp-grill, a raised front mudguard, fuel tank pads, a tyre hugger and a bash plate. The bike also gets hand guards and restyled mirrors on the new handlebar. The bike will be offered with new graphics and a slew of colour and options. The Passion Pro TR displayed at the Auto Expo sported disc brakes at the front and we expect it to be retained in the final production model.
