Hero MotoCorp shocked everyone at the 2014 Auto Expo with their new two-wheeler range. However, the giant is staying silent for the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo, at least they were till now.
The Gurgaon-based manufacturer has released a new teaser video on Facebook, which is also being promoted heavily on other social media channels. In the video, Ranbir Kapoor, brand ambassador of Hero MotoCorp, is seen talking about Hero’s range at the 2016 Auto Expo. Interestingly, the entire video revolves around only one vehicle type – green vehicles. This makes us believe that the company’s main focus for the 2016 Auto Expo are hybrids and environment-friendly two-wheelers.
Hero does have the production version of the Leap hybrid ready, but haven’t launched it yet. The iON Concept, which was unveiled at the last Auto Expo, also shows Hero’s focus towards new environment friendly mobility solutions. However, this initiative was lost at the last biennial event due to its vast range of new concepts like the Hastur and the HX250R.
This year, the Gurgaon-based manufacturer might want to put in more effort in the hybrid and electric business and that’s why the teaser video featuring Ranbir Kapoor. Other than this, Hero MotoCorp will also showcase the production ready Dare scooter and the new Karizmas.
