After registering a small decline in sales numbers in the last month, Hero MotoCorp seems to be getting back to its old pace as the company announced a marginal 0.7 per cent growth in the last month.
While 0.7 per cent might not seem like a big jump, for a manufacturer like Hero MotoCorp, it translates into an extra 4,300 units. While the company’s bread-and-butter products, the Splendor, the HF Dawn and the Passion, have been taking a big hit since the last couple of months, the recently launched Maestro Edge and the Duet have given a big impetus to Hero MotoCorp’s sales numbers. These two products have helped the company increase its scooter sales by over 20 per cent, significantly contributing to the company’s overall growth.
At the 2016 Auto Expo, Hero will be playing the eco-friendly card by following a ‘Greenovation’ theme. Apart from a slew of updated models from the current lineup, we can expect to see the company showcase a number of green concepts at the Auto Expo.
