Hero MotoCorp has reported a 5.61 per cent increase in total sales at 5,30,530 units. The company managed to sell 5,02,305 units in the same month last year.
The Gurgaon-based manufacturer also had unveiled their new range of motorcycles and technologies to fuel their future growth. Hero MotoCorp will launch these products over the next few months and will also showcase new products at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo.
"Despite a sluggish market environment, we have been able to achieve such robust volumes due to a slew of strategic initiatives that we rolled out. The path-breaking five-year warranty on our entire range of motorcycles and scooters has received an overwhelming response from our customers, as have our several brand and corporate campaigns," said Anil Dua, senior vice president, marketing and sales, Hero MotoCorp.
