- Hero sells 8,06,848 units in October 2020
- 35 per cent growth over the corresponding month last year
- Records highest ever monthly sales
Hero MotoCorp has recorded a growth of 35 per cent in its overall sales in the month of October 2020. The company sold 8,06,848 units last month, as opposed to 5,99,248 units in October 2019. Besides registering double digit growth, Hero also achieved its largest ever monthly sales figure last month.
The domestic sales of the brand stood at 7,91,137 units in October 2020, which was up from 5,86,988 units in the corresponding month last year. Moreover, exports also went up from 12,260 units to 15,711 units. Hero attributes this significant hike in sales to increased customer sentiments, consistent support from the government and restart of operations like supply chain and logistics.
It’s a known fact that Hero MotoCorp has been always been the best-selling two-wheeler brand, especially in the entry-level commuter genre. Now, the company is gradually shifting its focus towards developing premium bikes as well, and its recent tie-up with Harley-Davidson clearly exemplifies that. As per the new pact, Hero will help Harley in retaining its sales and service operations in India. Meanwhile, the former will utilise the latter’s name to sell premium products in the country.
