Hero MotoCorp has entered one of the largest two wheeler market in Latin America, Peru as a part of its strategy to have a global presence in 50 countries by 2020. The Gurgaon based manufacturer has roped in MotoCorp S.A.C that is a part of EFE Group of Peru as its local partner.
Initially, the company will sell its vehicles in Peru via 85 outlets spread across the country and will be adding few more in next few months. The company has introduced seven models in Peru that includes Pleasure, Passion Pro, Glamour, Hunk, Thriller, Karizma R and Karizma ZMR.
In order to reach each and every Peru household, the company has launched the Spanish version of its anthem “Hum Main Hai Hero” through print and TV. With Hero MotoCorp’s entry, other Indian manufactures like Bajaj and TVS might have tough time considering Hero’s status of developing very fuel efficient products.
