Hero MotoCorp has set an ambitious plan to make its presence in 50 new markets by 2020. They also plan to have 20 manufacturing facilities across the globe which will help them achieve overall annual turnover of Rs 60,000 crore. As a part of this ambitious plan, the company confirmed to have six assembly lines spread across three continents by next year.
For the domestic market, the Gurgaon based manufacturer has announced to launch 12 new products by the end of this fiscal year. The company will focus on motorcycles in the 150cc plus segment and will start launching its products from next month onwards to cash on the festive season.
We are expecting Hero MotoCorp will launch most of the 12 products in next year’s Auto Expo in Noida. Being a very big event, it will help them showcase their new products including their in house developed three engines.
