Yesterday we exclusively brought you information, that the upcoming 250cc motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp will be launched under the Karizma ZMR brand. Today the folks at Gaadi have managed to get their hands on spy pictures and a video of the upcoming motorcycle being tested near the company’s Dharuhera plant in Haryana.
The test mule was completely camouflaged but a few parts like the silencer, tail and one side of the rear twin shocks are clearly visible. The motorcycle is fully-faired and will be launched in India under the Karzima ZMR brand. The pictures clearly show some of the components like the exhaust, suspension, front fairing along with the rear view mirrors have been taken from the Karizma ZMR. It is likely that the company might be trying to share components between both vehicles to reduce cost which in turn is expected to help them directly help them price competitively.
The spied motorcycle will be powered by a single cylinder liquid cooled engine and will probably be designed and developed in collaboration between Erik Buell Racing and AVL. The motorcycle will be unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto expo and can expected to be priced very aggressively which will help them pit the motorcycle against the Yamaha R15 and the Duke 200.
