Hero Motorcorp records a 14 per cent growth in June

Hero Motocorp reported a 14 per cent growth with sales figures of 6,24,185 units in June 2017 over the 5,49,533 units it sold in June last fiscal.

The company’s motorcycle sales grew by 13 per cent with 5,47,185 units sold in June 2017 over the corresponding month in 2016. The scooter sales accounted for 22 per cent growth over June 2016 with 77,000 units sold in the same month this year.

The manufacturer credits the growth in sales to the wedding season and entry level commuters from its line-up like the Glamour which retails at ₹56,907, the Splendor Plus at ₹45,647 , and the HF Deluxe with a price tag of ₹37,039. All prices ex-showroom Mumbai.
