Hero MotoSports Team Rally has signed a new rider, Oriol Mena for the upcoming competition season. This new development is part of team’s plan to get new riders onboard and ride the various rallies across the world.
Oriol Mena has been part of motorcycle racing for over a decade now. He competed in the World Enduro Championship for 13 continuous years. He was also a part of the Spanish Enduro Championship for 14 years and has won the International Six Days Enduro as a part of the Spanish trophy team.
Oriol has competed in the Sardegna Rally where he managed to finish second overall. He also made his presence felt at Merzouga Rally in May 2017 by finishing 12th overall. Oriol has already started training with his new team for the 2018 Dakar season.
"I am really excited to be a part of Hero MotoSports Team Rally. The way this team performed in the first year and at the Dakar was really impressive and in a way I see a lot of synergy between what I want to do and the team's vision. I am looking forward to training with this team and racing along JRod and C S Santosh," said Oriol Mena.
