- Equipped with a 97.2cc single-cylinder motor
- Available in a single variant
- Gets minor cosmetic updates
Hero MotoCorp has officially re-launched the Passion Plus in India, and it now makes for the brand’s fifth offering in the 100cc class. Here’s what the updated bike has to offer.
Though the new Passion Plus retains a majority of its design elements from the previously sold model, it has now been tweaked on the cosmetic front. So, you’ll see a revised headlight cowl, tail lamp, and grab rail for 2023. The remaining bodywork, including the commuter stance, simple design, and structure, have been carried over.
Hero has powered the Passion Plus with a 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine dishing out 7.9bhp and 8.05Nm. It gets OBD2 (onboard diagnostics) compliance and is linked to a four-speed gearbox. Meanwhile, the Passion Plus features bulb illumination all over, a semi-digital instrument console, a USB-charging port, side-stand cut-off- and Hero’s i3S tech.
Similar to the design, Hero MotoCorp has also left the hardware unchanged. Thus, the Passion Plus continues to ride on telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks, while the braking hardware comprises a front and rear drum brake. Even the alloy wheels with road-biased tyres are the same.
Hero has priced the Passion Plus at Rs. 76,301 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it's available in three paint schemes — Sports Red, Black Nexus Blue, and Black Heavy Grey.
