The Hero Passion Pro has been around in the Indian market for nearly 19 years now. While it received changes over that time, the revisions it gets as part of the BS6 update is substantial. While you can read our in-depth review of the 2020 Passion Pro in the expert reviews section, here is a detailed image gallery of the motorcycle.
The Passion Pro is positioned as a sporty commuter and hence Hero has tweaked the styling by giving it a sharper headlamp cowl with faux air-intakes, angular tank extensions, and a sleeker rear section.
Hero is offering the motorcycle in five colour options with triple tone graphics. The paint quality as well as the quality of plastics all around the motorcycle is decent. Nevertheless, it could do with a better fit and finish.
The 2020 Passion Pro is built on a new diamond-type frame in place of the previous double-cradle unit. It has improved the suspension travel at both ends and has added more ground clearance as well.
Underneath this new frame is a 113cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled and fuel-injected motor borrowed from the Splendor iSmart. This motor is mated to a four-speed gearbox and churns out 9.02bhp and 9.79Nm.
As for features, the new Hero Passion Pro gets an updated semi-digital instrument cluster that now displays real-time fuel efficiency apart from the odometer, trip meter, and an analogue speedometer. The Passion Pro also comes with the i3S and an ‘Auto Sail’ function aids with a smoother low-speed ride.
The Hero Passion Pro has much more appeal than before thanks to the styling update. It also offers a tractable and efficient motor, comfortable seating as well as nimble handling. Priced aggressively at Rs 67,940 for the top-spec disc brake variant, the Passion Pro is a considerable option in its segment.
