Hero MotoCorp launched only the facelifted motorcycles and scooters in 2014 but 2015 is when we will see completely new products from the manufacturer. However, the company will continue to launch facelifted models and one of them was spied testing recently. This product is the facelifted Hero Passion XPro.
Hero MotoCorp has tried its best not to reveal too much details of the bike, however, we were able to figure out some major changes. The test mule features a six-spoke alloy wheel, instead of the five-spoke, which is seen in the current model. The headlamp cluster has been revised slightly, just like the tail section. The colour scheme used on the front fender is quite different as well. The test mule continues to carry the major design cues from the current model, making us believe that this could be a minor update, cosmetically. However, we are expecting the bike to get the new 110cc engine that has been developed in house by Hero MotoCorp and its foreign partners. This engine is expected to perform better from the current mill and also rumoured to be more fuel efficient.
Just like the Splendor, the Passion series is a high sales gainer for the Gurgaon- based manufacturer. While we continue to wait for the HX250R to makes its way out of the production plant, the new Passion XPro is sure to set the sales charts on fire in the Indian market, like has been the case before.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more details on the new range of motorcycles and scooters from Hero MotoCorp.
