- Available in two variants
- Gets projector LED headlight and Bluetooth connectivity
- Makes 9bhp and 9.79Nm of peak torque
Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the Passion XTec variant in our market with prices starting from Rs 74,590 onwards. This iteration of the company’s commuter motorcycle will be sold in two variants – Drum and Disc. Check out the variant-wise prices of the Hero Passion XTec below:
Passion XTec Drum: Rs 74,590
Passion XTec Disc: Rs 78,990
The new Passion XTec gets an updated feature list which comprises a projector LED headlamp and a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth module brings access to SMS and call alerts, real-time mileage indicator, low-fuel indicator, side-stand engine cut-off, and service reminder. However, unlike the XPulse 200 range, this module misses the turn-by-turn navigation function.
The specifications on the Passion XTec variant retain the 110cc, single-cylinder, BS6-compliant engine from the standard version. Linked to a four-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to produce 9bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.79Nm at 5,000rpm. The Passion XTec also benefits from the i3S technology that is aimed to deliver better fuel efficiency.
That said, apart from the Passion, Hero MotoCorp also offers the XTec variants of Splendor+, Glamour 125, Pleasure+ 110, and Destini 125.
