- BS6 Hero Pleasure Plus 110 Fi launched
- Price marginally hiked by around Rs 1,500
- Gets new fuel-injected engine
Hero MotoCorp has launched its first BS6-compliant scooter, the new Pleasure Plus 110 Fi, in India. It has been priced at Rs 54,800 (steel wheels) and Rs 56,800 (alloy wheels) (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is a minor premium of around Rs 1,500 over its BS4 counterpart.
Hero had heavily updated the styling of the scooter in May last year so it majorly remains unchanged on that front. However, it gets minor aesthetic additions such as a chrome headlamp surround (for alloy wheel trim), side accents and chrome 3D logo.
What’s substantially updated is the 110cc engine which now features Hero’s programmed fuel-injection system, as opposed to carburetor of the BS4 model. Interestingly, despite the BS6-bound changes in the motor, the power figures are the same at 8bhp and 8.7Nm. Hero also claims to have achieved 10 per cent more fuel efficiency and better acceleration over the BS4 model with this updated engine.
The new Hero Pleasure Plus 110 Fi retains the same hardware from the outgoing model. It rides on 10-inch wheels which are suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by drum brakes at both ends with combined braking system.
The Hero Pleasure Plus 110 Fi competes against the newly-launched Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Jupiter 110.
