The Hero Pleasure Plus 110 was launched in India recently in order to replace the 102cc version of the scooter which has been long in the tooth. The ‘Plus’ suffix has brought along several upgrades to the scooter in the form of a fresh styling, more features and tweaked cycle parts. Now, let’s take a brief look at these updates through the pictures from our launch ride review of the Pleasure Plus 110.
Starting with the aesthetics, the new Pleasure Plus retains design cues from the older model but has received several changes which make it look more modern. It sports a larger quadrilateral-shaped headlamp, restyled front apron and a curvier rear section.
The front portion has been redesigned to look bolder, accentuated by a headlamp bezel and a strip on the apron, both finished in shades contrasting the body colour.
At the rear, a similar contrast-coloured strip sits flush on the under seat cowl which ends into a svelte tail lamp.
The instrument cluster of the Pleasure Plus 110 is an updated analogue unit consisting of a speedometer, tripmeter, fuel gauge and other tell tail lights.
The scooter has been equipped with new utilitarian features such as a pair of open glove boxes, more underseat storage space with a boot light, luggage hook and a USB phone charger.
The engine, as the name itself suggests, is a bigger 110cc motor which produces 8bhp and 8.7Nm. The higher displacement has improved the performance of the Pleasure Plus over the previous model.
The scooter rides on 10-inch wheels which are suspended by bottom link-type suspension at the front and, a monoshock at the rear.
Braking duties are handled by 130mm drum units at both ends while the presence of IBS (integrated braking system) enhances the braking performance.
The Pleasure Plus is available in a total of seven colour options. This includes matte-finished variants of bottle green, velvet red and vernier grey along with glossy shades of solid red, polestar blue, glazed black and pearl silver white.
Hero has launched two variants of the Pleasure Plus 110 including one with steel wheels and another with alloy wheels. While the former is priced at Rs 47,300, the latter costs Rs 49,300. (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
