- Hero Pleasure Plus BS6 prices hiked by Rs 1,300
- Start at Rs 56,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
- First price hike since its launch
Hero MotoCorp has recently increased the prices of its scooter offerings in India. Besides making the Destini 125 BS6 marginally dearer, the company also hiked the prices of the Pleasure Plus BS6. Pegged at Rs 56,100 (steel wheels) and Rs 58,100 (alloy wheels), the Pleasure now demands a premium of Rs 1,300 over the previous pricing.
The Hero Pleasure Plus is a light and compact scooter targeted at women riders. It received the BS6 update in January 2020 with minimal changes since it’s already a fairly new product. It received minor cosmetic tweaks such as the addition of a chrome headlamp surround (for alloy wheel variant), chrome side accents and a 3D logo.
Powering the scooter is a 110cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine capable of producing 8bhp and 8.7Nm. Interestingly, the performance numbers have remained the same as its BS4 iteration. In fact, Hero claims it delivers 10 per cent more mileage and better acceleration now. The scooter rides on 10-inch wheels with telescopic forks and a monoshock. Stopping power comes from a drum brake at both ends.
The Hero Pleasure Plus BS6 goes up against the TVS Scooty Zest 110, Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Jupiter 110.
