- Adorns a new paint scheme and funkier graphics
- Gets Bluetooth connectivity
- Mechanically the same as other variants
Hero MotoCorp has widened the Pleasure Plus line-up by adding a new Xtec Sports variant to its portfolio. The scooter is priced at Rs. 79,738 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which puts it between the top-end Xtec Connected and Xtec standard trims.
The only aspect that differentiates Sports from the other Xtec variants is the paint scheme and graphics. The Abrax Orange Blue colour scheme comprises blue as the primary shade with slashes of orange and ‘18’ number on the side panels, front apron, and front fender. Moreover, the orange pinstripes running through the circumference of the wheels and body-coloured grab rail and mirrors further distinguish the Sports variant from others.
Apart from these visual changes, the new variant remains the same as the standard and Xtec Connected version. It continues to be powered by a 110.9cc engine that churns out 8bhp and 8.7Nm and comes mated to a CVT transmission system. It boasts a light kerb weight of 106kg and the fuel tank capacity stands at a measly 4.8 litres.
As for the cycle parts, the Pleasure Plus rides on 10-inch wheels at both ends with telescopic forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a drum at both ends with the combined braking system. The feature list is impressive as it comprises a semi-digital console with Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS alerts on the LCD. Plus, there’s a projector LED headlamp which is quite uncommon in this segment.
The Hero Pleasure Plus Xtec goes up against the likes of the Honda Activa 6G and the TVS Jupiter.
