The Indian two-wheeler industry is slowly recovering from the blow it faced during the lockdown. One such example is Hero Motocorp which has witnessed a 300 per cent growth in sales.
Hero dispatched over 4.5 lakh motorcycles and scooters in June 2020 as compared to the 1.12 lakh units it sold to dealerships in May 2020 across India. The manufacturer has also announced a total sale of 5.63 lakh units in the first quarter (April-June) of FY2020-21.
Moreover, in the light of improving situations, Hero recently launched the Xtreme 160R in the country with a price tag of Rs 99,950 (ex-showroom Delhi). It is also expected to launch the BS6-compliant version of the Xpulse 200 soon.
