Hero MotoCorp registered a growth of 16.4 per cent in terms of sales in the month of October in India. The company sold 734,668 units of two-wheelers in October 2018 compared to the 631,105 units sold in the corresponding period last year.
The numbers, however, came down when compared to the month of September 2018 when it sold 769,138 units. This was the time when Hero MotoCorp recorded its highest monthly sales ever in India.
Hero MotoCorp stands as one of the leading manufacturers in the entry-level commuter segment. Its Splendor model grabs the highest number of customers every month. The company has recently entered into the 125cc scooter space with the launch of the Destini 125. Moreover, it is also eyeing at getting a considerable share in the premium motorcycle segment and the launch of Xtreme 200R is the epitome of it.
