Hero MotoCorp has announced the launch of the Splendor Plus Xtec in the Indian market. This iteration of the company’s 100cc commuter motorcycle benefits from Bluetooth connectivity that brings features such as incoming and missed call alerts, new message alerts, two trip meters with the Real-Time Mileage Indicator, and a low fuel indicator.
The new Splendor Plus Xtec is available in four colours – Sparkling Beta Blue, Canvas Black, Tornado Grey, and Pearl White. The graphics are subtle and visible on the headlight cowl, fuel tank, and side panel give the motorcycle a modern look. The changes to the Xtec variant are limited to paint theme and the addition of Bluetooth connectivity.
Thus, the mechanical specifications retains the 97.2cc BS6-compliant, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 7.9bhp at 7,000rpm and 8.05Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. The motorcycle benefits from the i3S (Idle Stop-Start System) technology that is aimed to deliver better fuel efficiency.
The new Splendor Plus XTEC is available in a single variant and it has been priced at Rs 72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
