- Dealers have stopped accepting bookings for Splendor PRO
- Customers are being asked to opt for Splendor Plus
Hero MotoCorp seems to have discontinued the Splendor PRO in India. Dealerships have run out of stock of the motorcycle and are no longer accepting bookings for it.
The Hero Splendor PRO was a trendier version of the most popular model in the Splendor range, the Splendor Plus. It sported a curvy headlamp cowl, a fancy instrument console and a single-piece grab rail to catch the attention of urban buyers. However, the Splendor PRO failed to make a mark, mostly due to the customers’ preference for utilitarian looks and features, an area where the Splendor Plus scores well.
Prices for the Splendor Plus start at Rs 49,400 and go up to Rs 51,400, which is marginally lower than that of the discontinued model. Dealers also mentioned that the despatch of the Splendor 110 iSmart has been temporarily halted, although the model has not been discontinued. For now, customers looking for 110cc motorcycles are being asked to consider the new Passion range.
