Hero MotoCorp has launched the facelift version of the Super Splendor at Rs 53,737 (ex-showroom Mumbai). The company has given the bike only cosmetic changes to keep the bike up to date that will help them continue with good sales.
The Super Splendor will continue to be powered by the same 124.7cc engine that produces 9bhp at 7000rpm and a maximum torque of 10.35Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is mated to a four-speed constant mesh gearbox with all-down gearshift pattern. The updated Super Splendor gets new colours, black alloy wheels and decals. It also gets the side-stand indicator which is a welcome move by the company. The feature may look small but adds lot of value to the rider.
