- Launched in two variants
- Gets new features
- Available in three colour options
Hero Motocorp has recently launched the Super Splendor Xtec in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in two variants with prices starting from Rs 83,368 for the drum brake version and Rs 87,268 for the front disc variant.
Now, this premium version is offered in a choice of three colour options. You can have the Super Splendor Xtec in Gloss Black or Matte Axis Grey if subtle is what you are looking for. However, for a dash of flashiness, Hero is also offering the commuter in Blazing Red. All three options are adorned with snazzy grey graphics on the side.
Apart from the new colours, Hero Motocorp has gone ahead and tweaked the styling of the motorcycle too by adding a full-LED headlamp with LED DRL. The feature list does not end there. It also comes with a Bluetooth-enabled full-digital display, USB charging port to list a few.
That said, the new Hero Super Splendor Xtec is also OBD2-A compliant so the diagnostics system enables the detection of system failures or anything similar. What remains the same is the 124.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox, and produces 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm at 6,000rpm.
