-Will be launching two new scooters tomorrow
-2019 Pleasure to get major cosmetic and mechanical upgrade
-Maestro Edge 125 likely to be priced around Rs 60,000
Hero is set to launch two new scooters in India tomorrow. While one is the Maestro Edge 125, the other is the 2019 Pleasure.
The Hero Maestro Edge 125 is styled similar to its 110cc sibling and gets a sharp and youthful design. It will be powered by the same 124cc engine as the Destini 125 which produces 8.7bhp and 10.2Nm. Hero had unveiled the Maestro Edge 125 at the Auto Expo last year. It was equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster and the i3s technology although we also expect it to get LED lighting for the headlamp. To be positioned above the Destini 125, the Maestro Edge 125 is likely to cost around Rs 60,000 (ex-showroom).
As for the 2019 Hero Pleasure, Hero has managed to keep the details locked shut in a bank vault. However, the scooter was spied during a TVC shoot and we know that it will get a cosmetic upgrade. The styling of the 2019 Pleasure is sharper than the earlier variant, giving it a fresh appeal. It is also likely to sport LED DRLs and a semi-digital instrument cluster. In terms of its engine, we expect Hero to upgrade the scooter with a 110cc engine derived from the Duet and Maestro Edge 110. As for its pricing, the 2019 Pleasure will surely demand a premium over the current model which starts at Rs 45,100 and goes upto Rs 47,100 for the alloy wheel version.
